yah i saw that. a real loss.
but not surprising really... the guy was constantly putting his life on the line. i'm just surprised that he it was the ocean that pulled him away and not gravity while soloing.
i believe he has a wife and child. i hope he had (but doubt a company would cover) life insurance.
