NEPAL EVEREST BASE CAMP

Postby climberwannabe » Sun Jun 03, 2007 1:02 pm

Hey guys, havent been on here in a while!! Anyways, I am taking off the month of July and was hoping to do base camp... apparently its monsoon season though. I may not have the opportunity to do it again for a while. Just seeing if anyone has any comments on trekking there this time of year.. OR if someone is looking for a partner to do something else foreign???

They just did a big "clean Sweep" of the base camp, removing over 20 000lbs of junk.

Hey,

I'm taking a group up there in October for a 21 day trek and Island Peak climb. PM me and we can chat bro.

oh yeah, I would stay away during July unless you like hot humid hellishness with leaches and rain.

There are lots of flowers though.

Yeah thanks for the reply... but I have decided to goto Morocco and Spain instead. A bit of trekking in the high atlas and then onto Spain for some rock climbing and general backpack debauchery.
