loose rock on pink panther

Postby Adam » Mon May 14, 2007 11:35 am

right up under the roof, before you pull the layback moves, the rock in the horizontal crack is kinda expando...

i haven't done the route in a few years, was it always loose in there? or has the freeze/thaw loosened them up?

As far as I can recall, the rock which you are describing has always had a degree of flex. I've not noticed any "serious" frail rock, or at least if one is concerned, there is plenty of sound rock to utilize.
Keeping in mind, I have not been on Pink Panther since last august; Perhaps a significant change has occeurred due to the freeze-thaw cycle.

It was loose back in 1980 so I suspect it is safe.
You are, therefore I am. That is the question....
