New CNS Board

Hello everyone,

It looks like CNS will be around for another year at least. New board is the following:

Nathan Smith - Chair
Conan Baker - Treasurer
Scott Richardson - Secretary
Rich Lapaix - Member at Large
Ben Smith - Member at Large
Keith Swyer - Member at Large/Webmaster

This is definitly new territory for me and I'm sure it'll be a good learning experience. Hopefully this year we'll be able to create a productive and co-opperative team.

After we set our budget for the following year, I expect you'll hear about our upcoming projects and events.

The board is still in need of more people if anyone is interested.

Sorry I couldn't make it ladies and gents, good to see I still have a job. So when are we getting the budget in order? We can meet at my place or use the MEC conference room. Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, & Sundays are best for me.

I am free anytime in the evenings usually.

CNS plans to hold a meeting in two weeks time. Thursday, May 3rd is the date. 6:30pm at the Killam Library (going to use a conference room)

CNS plans to discuss the following:

-Budget
-Commons Boulders
-Events
-Sponsorships
-Access Fund
-Memberships

just to name a few.

As Nate had already stated, we are looking for more members. If you think you can contribute to CNS and want to share you input, then hop on. Despite all the negative things in the past, we can all work together to generate something positive to support some, not all, of people needs.
