How many days do you get out on ice in a season?

For all the motormouths who just need to spray.

How many days do you average or how much did you get out if it was your first full season?

Huh, ice? I must have blinked and the season passed.

I'm just kinda curious what an average season for an average climber is.

The winter before I was pregnant I got out over 25 times as I was skipping work to climb. Before the baby Fred and I would get out every sat/sun so maybe we'd get 15 or more times in a season? this year I only got out 6 times. (booooooooo) And next year I'll likely be preggos again... so won't have much of a season then either!

I think i got out about 25 times.....i'm not sure if that's accurate or not.

figure 4 days in T-bay
2 days in quebec
bancroft
then a pile of trips around here.

gotta be over 20.

I'm pretty sure that's not what he means.

I'm quite sure he is referring to me being pregnant again..

matt endured a rather emotional climbing trip with Fred and I to the Gunks a couple of years ago when I was 4 months pregnant. It wasn't fun for everyone. I was a bit of a wreck to say the least!

sorry Matt! I'll be better prepared for what is to come this time! ha!

Next year I hope I can get out lots. I hope to find some good partners and get away on quite a few weekends. I should be fit and strong and much more desirable to climb with then.

Too bad I have this pesky thing called work that will still get in the way. :?

I usually try to get 25 days a year. Came close this year with 23 but that was due to the extremely late start with the weather.

I think it has something to do with a vintage year Cabernet... but I'm not sure....
