I was about to enquire if there's anything happening this weekend. Seems like this answered the question! So is there any ice left either here or in NB?
Thom, Dave and I made a run to New Hampshire (Mt. Washington, Huntington Ravine). The weather was terrible, which made it interesting, but the climbing was therefore not great. Pictures to follow.
Sounds like a grand day out for you guys... over here, spectacular early spring conditions saw us do Point Five gully on Ben Nevis today.... 1000 feet of mostly Grade 5 (which is quite steep....) a sit in the sun on the roof of scotland in zero wind (almost unheard of here) after the climb...superb...icing on the cake was to find not 1 but 2 BD express screws !!...would post a pic but am too stupid to figure out how to do it...cheers all.
Thanks Stevo...means a lot coming from a guy like you (ha ha ha )....good conditions continued here, and yesterday two of us managed Zero Gully, quite steep and poorly protected, but it was a good day out...March on The Ben, always a good time.
