Anyone interested in climbing at Grand Falls this weekend? Justin, do you still climb there frequently? Any conditions reports? Thanks, Joe.

Hey Joe:

Provided the conditions are good, I would be interested in climbing in GF.
I have not been there this year.

Cool. I have to drive a bunch of kids to Edmundston for the weekend, so I can climb Saturday or Sunday. Conditions should still be decent. So pick a day, and I'll be there.

Hey guys; havent climbed there for almost two weeks, weekend before last big cliff area was good, walk in the park was very sparse at the bottom with the top good, into the woods is holding up nice, and the stuff up around the corner is a death trap. We were up there tree weeks ago and a section 8' by 6' came off two feet beside me (thank god the belayers were on thier feet). But with that said it has rained off and on for two or three days now, so its anyones guess.

Sorry, but I'm out. With all the rain and warm weather, I am not confident about the conditions.

Lookin pretty iffy joe. I'd love to get out there, but the forocast isn't looking pretty even for the hard core. Driving two hours by oneself to climb choss in the rain isn't hi in my books. Will keep checking progress though.
I'll make a decision tonight.

Well, it's 10:30 and the rain is still pouring down. Im out Joe, I think we'd drown on the pitch tomorrow if there is anything left.

The ice in Grand Falls is basically out. Just crap left. And the river is open, so walking around is a bit difficult. She's done for the season. Good call Mat et al.
