also halls harbour has tons of good (read chossy but high and featured) rock potential.

What an awesome day! The view walking down the beach with icefall after icefall all along the cliff was a sight to behold (Ben running up and down trying out his axes on each was another! :-)

. A big thanks to everyone for a great day, particularily those lending out ropes, tools, etc.

I have friday off- Is anyone interested in heading to halls harbour again if the tides are right- I really want to try some of the rock there as well- it looks like it has a lot of potential in areas

pssssssf i wish i had a pair of ice boots! although he probably would have thrown those away too!
they were some old school ski boots that i actually never used or had any intentions of using until this past sunday.

I went out once and I was hooked. I didn't even get to use crampons because nobody had boots that would fit my feet.

Chossy featured rock + ice = mixed routes.

Nice work boys, looks like you are enjoying it! Just wait until you have your own boots... you think you love it now?! man, climbing in ice boots instead of ski boots is like night and day!

i dont think night or day matters to ben
last i heard he was limiting his sleep to 3-5 hours a night to get more sending in!

also, please return that crimper to the gym, I have bought you a scraper, a REAL ONE :lol:
