New Cliff Potential

I flew over NB today on my way back from the US and spotted a cliff near the town of Harvey. I could not determine the quality but there is definitely something there and it overlooks a half circle lake. There is a road leading to the top with two communication towers. Here are the coordinates for viewing on Google Earth.

45°44'56.16"N
66°59'1.11"W

Anyone ever hear anything about this spot?
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

I wondered how long it would take for someone to notice. Worked a bit in the area in the summer, looked at it through binoculars. Looks huge...

...Also, it can be seen from the rec center behind the elementary school or from Cherry Mountain... Must be the same cliff.?

it's gota be the same one. It's practically in town.
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

This is true.... because Fred and I find that Mount Nemo in your neck of the woods to be a choss pile.

Sorry for what? It is a choss pile. I really don't like climbing there. Had I developed that cliff it would be a lot less chossy. Unlike the people who developed those cliffs, I do own a crow bar. :twisted:

Its a greasy chosspile, too.

We're not sure where we'd like to move to in the future, but hopefully someplace with better rock.

Is it seeping?

If it seeps, vertical kitty litter freezes together and can make good ice routes. :D

Well got some info from a guy at work that lives out there roslyn lake is it's name and supposedly it's very broken up and mostly a scramble to the top. there used to be an old fire tower up there and the road leading to it has be barracaded off.

I checked out this "cliff" many years ago, and would also categorize it as a choss pile. It's pretty easy to get to from the highway, and is an easy scramble. I was there in the fall, so the view from the top over the surrounding countryside was quite colourful.
