I think I remembe someone telling me that it takes ~12 hours.

As per Map Quest, they say 13 hours, but with longer trips driving its usually a couple hours shorter than what they say.

that sounds about right. It gets fast the more they improve the highways in NB

it's about 3.75 hours to Fredericton and I swear it is no more than 7 hours from Fredericton to Montreal with new highways (used to be 8 hours). Quebec city is now 5 hours. Only 100kms in NB still not 4 lanes but by 2007 all will be twinned. So max 11 hours total.
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

I did it in 10hrs 4 years ago. If you time it right to go through Northern New Brunswick after 2am, there's little to know traffic ( pretty much only Big rigs doing +110 km per hr ) and you'll pull into Montreal just as the sun comes up and Beat rush hour traffic.

I've done that trip, except continuing onto Ottawa at least 2 times a year. It’ll take you about 11-12 hours so long as you hit Montreal somewhere in the 3-4am mark; it truly makes a difference with the amount of cars on the roads there during the day. Plus with most of the construction complete in NB, things should move swiftly.
