Another post had me thinking about what makes 5.9+, 5.9, 5.9-. I really like this range of grades because I can usually onsight at this level without too much difficulty. So I have started a comparitive Eastern N. America 5.9 graded list of routes I have personally done, taking the New Hampshire grading as definitive (Because that area has a very long history and the routes have had hundreds of ascents) bracketed by a few harder and easier routes. Note that there aren't any face/slab routes cos 5.9 slab is desperate! let's hear your views.
