any info on gyms in nb? how to get there, prices etc?

The Rock&Ice club is at the bottom of the UNB campus in Fredericton. It is in 2 squash courts, so mainly bouldering. There are routes at the gym on the Gagetown base, about 20 minutes from Freddy.

Unb has Nb's only real bouldering facility, it is very good and is open 6-9 or 10 depending on who is monitoring sunday to friday and cost $3 for the evening. Gagetown is on the military base in Oromocto, it is routwe climbing with 8 or 9 lead routes and a bunch ot TR. Since it is military they are very strict and subject to last minute closures so call ahead 506-422-3380, it is open (typically) monday, wed, sat 6-9pm ($5). Hope this helps. If you are looking for more difficulty, variety and friendliness UNB is the place to go, for routes head to gagetown, be prepared for an anal crowd till they get to know you. Hope this helps.
