Hey... Anyone from NB been to Yosemite and climbed El Cap or Half-Dome?

I am not sure about NB, but I think Stevo in NS climbed El Cap. And of course, Nick Sagar of Halifax free climbed El Cap with Tommy. I climbed the first 10 feet, does that count? :D

Andrew: I think Ulysse has been on the Nose but backed off due to poor weather conditions.


why? are you interested in climbing that thing?
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

I'm from NB and I went up Snake Dike on Half Dome.

Fred and I met a gal in the Gunks last year who did Snake Dike 6 months pregnant! She said she cried the whole way up! hehehe! Damn those hormones!! I'd love to get on that route myself!

Start training on Sliding Board on Whitehorse Ledge. It's that type of route.

there's no need for that shizo going on at Slidding Board

they can have it. I'd rather be thrashing my way up a chimney then be on the sharp end of that stuff.
