Bouldering in Maine

Postby Brayzer » Thu Jun 22, 2006 7:26 pm

So, this is completely not related to boulderfest or beer, which seems to be the hot topic right now. Just looking for suggestions for bouldering in Maine and surrounding area. I might be heading down for school in the fall and I'm going to visit so I'd like to check out the rock while I'm there.

Have a great weekend everyone, I hope the weather cooperates!

Clifton near Bangor has some great boulders and even better trad.

Bar Harbour has some bouldering. Ask the locals for the good spots as they are off the beaten path.
The phrase "working mother" is redundant. ~Jane Sellman

If a husband speaks in the woods, and his wife is not there to hear him...is he still wrong?

Not sure how far south you're going, but Pawtuckaway State Park in Raymond, New Hampshire has some really good bouldering.

I'm in Kittery and it's about a 30 min drive from me.
