Happy to report very few bugs at Welsford today. Excellent day out - a few black flies now and then, but the climbing was so good you hardly notice them... we all climbed in shorts and t-shirts and didn't bother with the bug dope. So... git yer asses out there, eh.

I imagine they are all wearing their rain slickers and rubber boots

For the weekend of June 17-18th 2006 - Bug report:
Minimal bugs.
You can sit on a rock and eat your sandwich without swatting flys or thinking they might land on your food. While climbing you're not spending more energy swatting at mosquitos, etc.
Overall GREAT.
It was slightly windy so it's possible that had a factor.

bugs got worse after 6pm but otherwise virtually non-existant
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.
