boots eh?

I see that mountaineering boots are hella expensive... (I should have bought that pair on clearance at MEC!) anyways, is there a good, reliable way to buy a used pair around here? I'd hate to spend $450 on nice boots and wear them once (then put them next to the dirt bike, mountain bike and all that other stuff!).

I know a guy with some plastics for sale. They are third hand but functional, and therefore likely well priced.
