Buing Wall nut set on Ebay ?

I'm thinking of buying some used climbing equipment on ebay. Particulatly a set of Wall nuts ...... I'd like to have some opinions on this .... Is it a good idea or bad idea ?

In most cases people will say stay away from used gear. When it comes to nuts I would say go for it just closely examine the cables and swagging. If there are serious kinks or what looks like metal fatigue then don't use it, or if you see cracks in the nuts. I have 2 pieces that I found that I still use.
