Is that a rhetorical question?

What or where are you thinking? It looks like a solid week of cold here in Hali.

As always, im in!

The tides are beginning to cooperate a bit on the Fundy side - so an early day could be had, but high tide is still in the afternoon.

Ice destinations in NS are not my specialty, so I will await suggestions from others, but just wanted to throw my hat in for some weekend climbing.

Well how does this sound?

Moose River on Saturday, maybe camp, 2 hour drive from Halifax. Out by Parrsboro. This is some fun times i tell you. 180 feet of it! Been out there a few times and it just gets better and better.

An all around adventure.
I'm in!

My wife and I would be interested in going Saturday, but are less inclined to stay the night because we have loads of work to do this weekend.

Also, would it be possible to obtain an extra pair of crampons from CNS (to fit a woman's size 6 boot)? She just returned hers, and is waiting for her replacements.

Yeah, this's what i meant to do.

Good stuff. Do you have a offroadable vehicle? You see, if we were all staying we could just ride the Saturn in there, and we'd be fine. But i guess you guys will need to get out Saturday evening.

It is a long hike to the road for the nonoffroadable.

You dont need a hummer, only the proper motivation and a car. A Saturn would be best.

The first and eternal question:

Worth it?

YES

First point... I can almost hear the slurrr in your typing.

Second.... The Saturn is a frigging beast not to be reconed with. One night you go to sleep all nice like, the next you wake up full of tire tracks all over your bed and, in particular, the person you went next next to.

Never underestimate the power of a 'ladies' car. And be super aware of non- motley crew going women.

Waaaa waaa waaaa,
Mike

Little note for the ladies..... watch out for the super inspired, much too much drink been had, one night at the Roxy, superatars. Tangle with fire and get your fire lit, yes. Get your house burnt down too. Well yes, but it did have such a lovely warmth and charm to it.

We have a 4x4 truck, so I think we're fine for access. But, since it's a foreign truck does this qualify it as a ladies vehicle?
