Hey there,
So I've been climbing a fair amount since I finished work at the first of July in the mountains and on the rock. I haven't really done any climbing in the Rockies really and as I am on my way from west to east presently and Cory Hall is hanging out in the Rockies we hooked up for some climbing! We met in Banff and made some plans. NE Ridge of Mt. Alberta, supposedly the hardest to reach summit in the Rockies, we climbed it on July 26th in 17hrs from the Alberta hut. The route goes at Grade 5, run-out 5.10 for around 18 pitches on fairly exciting terrain, then some fun weaving through cornices on the summit ridge. Overall an awesome alpine experience!! On our way for the Emperor Ridge on Robson... weather is looking awesome!
Hope the Climbing is going well!!
