Very interesting how the article reads,

The foreign victims were identified as Canadians John Dahu Gauthier and Pierre Bourdeau and Americans James Fadrick Bach and Jason John Barrilla, according to the Parvir Trekking agency which outfitted the mountaineers. The two other victims were Nepalese Sherpa guides.

Does anyone else see the last sentence as wrong, like the sherpa's were less important than the "Climbers".

I don't know much about mountaineering or Everest but why would all 4 camps be set-up in the path of a potential avalanch? Are there no sheltered areas?

No Mitt, they don't have names either. Heck in our newspaper if someone dies in an accident of sorts, chances are you'll read: "Their dog sparky, a spunky little pitbull, also didn't survive the fire. Donations will be taken on behalf of Sparky's surviving kin".
