Here's my old Spidey pad too, just because I can:

Nice I really like your work.

I love the detail you get. What type of markers do you use?

My pad has a Chetrooper on the outside. (A Che image with a stormtrooper face). The inside has batman and the joker.

I've also done Stupendous Man for Craig. I think I have a pic of that around here somewhere.

The markers I use are basically just "Sharpie" permanent markers. They have a 1 mm tip. I actually used "Rub-a-Dub" laundry markers for most of it (same brand, Sanford), though I don't know what the difference is between that and permanent markers... I assumed it would last longer on fabric. I used a big assed permanent Pentel marker at the end to color the black in, I was going insane with the smaller ones, and it was taking me years.

The details on the newest one are much much better because the surface isn't cloth like the cordless ones, it's cordura or whatever, and a pretty tightly woven cordura at that.

Would be stoked to see your pics.

Don't even go there dude. 8)

I hear you about the sharpies running out. I've ruined a few on crashpad art.

I think we bought the same marker for filling in the black. Those big chistel tipped ones. Boy do they stink too.

Dude, I know - Seriously, I nearly fell over I was so wasted from marker smell. I had to set up a fan across the pad towards the window. hahha, good stuff though. When do we get to see pics? :?: "But I want it now!"

This isn't a very good picture. This was after my sharpie had just died and hadn't gotten the thick marker yet.

I don't currently have any pics of mine I'll have to go take some.

In case someone would be interested in using an airbrush technique in a cheap way, you can use Blo-Pens which you can use with Sharpies and blow on your design... <Insert your own dirty joke here>

I have even heard of people hitching up their oil-less compressors to these things.

If I could afford a crashpad I'd probably just draw a bulls eye target type thingy.
