Towelpointing W.T.F!

Postby *Chris* » Mon Oct 15, 2012 10:47 am

I submit to you the most serious issue to impact traditional climbing since Headpointing... that's right... it's Rap Towelpointing

In this video it's clear that the new-school of towel-tapers have hit even the most traditional areas in Great Britain. Unacceptable. As a community we must all demand that wet routes are padded dry in a ground-up style. The placement of fixed towels while on rap is an affront... and these towels should be chopped immediately. If we allow this to spread to our local crags than I swear fixed diapers and feminine pads will be soon to follow!

Ground-up towelpointers, let's UNITE and prevent this non-sense from hitting our local crags.

I honestly don't understand the ethics in Great Britain??

E8 and he's on top-rope for half or the route with pre-placed gear?
Seems wishy-washy to me.

and yet some of them seem to have more straightforward ethics in operation.
