Kamou Bugs

Postby Fred » Wed Sep 01, 2010 9:57 pm

FYI for anyone who is planning a trip to Kamou in the near future. There were an abundance of mosquitos at the campground. Thanks to the wind they weren't around at the cliff but as soon as the wind let up... they were nasty up there too. Very strange because I've been there in July and August and never saw any bugs.
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

I counted 27 bites on just my right leg. I'm in itching hell, and it's been 4 days since I've been there.

That said, the climbing, as always, was stellar. LOVE that rock.

The odd mosquito was spotted last weekend but nothing serious. Awsome place!
