backcountry hikes/camping around halifax

hey im new to the halifax area and hoping to get out to do some 1-3 day hiking trips. i dont drive so i was wondering if there were any places to go near enough to halifax or within a busing distance that were good? thanks for the help

Kejimikujik National Park is amazing. It isn't really close, .. about 2 hours away. but a bus would likely get you there.

there are some trails close to hrm. i'm not that familiar though. go to mec and ask jodi isenor...he'll know.
