Grabbed thsi off another board this morning. Its a list of sports that are supossed to be good for your body. Climbing nabbed spot #3.

oh my goodness. I don't know if I agree with that. The list of injuries is extensive.
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

They were probably mostly looking at gym climbing. Though oddly I think I've been hurt more in the gym than outside.
If women ruled the world there would be no wars, just be a bunch of jealous countries not talking to each other.

They are probably generalizing for every day people who visit climbing gyms for exercise. Most chronic climbers seem to have beat-up bodies for the most part... or maybe it's just me. hehe
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

It says that climbing doesn't help with cardio. They clearly have never had to haul their gear 45 minutes uphill to get to a cliff.

Yeah, I will say that I have been injured more frequently on the bike than I have while climbing (while the severity of climbing accidents can be much worse, it doesn't result in as many twisted ankles, broken arms etc.).

For mountain biking at least. I wonder how frequently people who stick on the road end up getting hurt.

I suspect that many of the cycling injuries are from collisions with other bikers or with objects....not from the actual action of riding.
