I'm wary of things that try to be multi-functional, but this seems like a really good idea that works together well... I'm voting cool.
Also: my climbing industrial designer friend in Calgary just e-mailed me for ideas on how to make a new website and he will be very interested in this guy's work and presentation- thanks for posting this.
