La Sportiva B5

Just picked up a pair of the sweet B5 approach shoes. I took them on a mountaineering trip this weekend and all went well until the decent back to that car. A terrible scree slog down some 1500M or so of elevation. Bloody hellish i say. By the time i got back to the car i had blown a 3CM hole in the side of the toe box. Exactly a week old...

I took them into MEC in Calgary and I guess i was like the fifth person to have the exact problem. Of course i will get my MEC refund but i just wanted to send out a warning to all you Sportiva fans that have or are considering buying these funky shoes.

Dont use them for anything but bowling!
