Rockpants

After having to do an evidence search for one of the local police forces here. That involved hours of wading through blackberry bushes, I need some tougher pants.

I figured there was enough forestry types here. Recommend me some pants that will take the bite out of nature's best.

They don't have to be super heavy duty pants. I'd just like to hear if anyone has any recommendations.

These may be too much of a 'statement' but military pants are damn near indestructible. I use mine working outside during the summers; chopping and hauling wood, moving rocks, digging holes, climbing trees, etc. and have only one tear in the knee after 7 or 8 years of use. And they cost like 20 or 30 bucks.

Maybe you can find some non-camo pattern ones. I know US has plain black ones, and the early Canadian stuff is plain green.

Do you sweat a lot in those?

Hm, I can't remember that being a problem so probably no.

British pants have a liner that extends a little past the knee that is super cool in summer and nice and warm in winter. Not sure if British pants come in anything but DPM camo though.

US pants have no liner, but I can't recall sweating in them. For bushwhacking, I wouldn't take anything else!
