NBCC Climbing Competition

We are holding a climbing competition at NBCC in Saint John, NB. The date for the event will be the weekend of January 10th/11th. Not sure if it will be a 1 day or 2 day event yet. It will be a roped competition, but don't worry if you are a boulder since we have lots of harnesses you can borrow. There will be top roped and lead routes, including a 40' overhanging lead route for testing your endurance. The competition will be on Sunday 11th Jan. The cost is $10. There will be a Junior category for our younger members, and top rope and lead categories for our older members. The comp will start at 10am and go to 2pm. Finals will start at 2:30 and the event will finish at 4pm. We have shoes and harnesses available for use during the comp for free. There will also be a gear swap in the gym during the comp. If you have any old climbing or camping gear you want to pass on come on out.
