You can go to a Monday night bouldering session

http://www.climbeasterncanada.com/viewtopic.php?t=608

You can also check out http://ns.bouldering.ca or the bouldering guide book. You are kind of on the edge of the really good bouldering so you'd have to do a little bit of driving.

You can check out the Climbing guide too for rope climbs. Lots of people post here when they are heading out, you just have to keep checking.

There is a good bouldering spot on the hill on the northeast side of Exit 7 on the 103 highway. See guide at : http://members.tripod.com/novascotiacli ... exit7.html
There is some potential for harder stuff (some open projects).

The Porcupine Fortress bouldering area at the end of the Aspotogan Peninsula is much larger with more of a selection.
See guide at: http://members.tripod.com/novascotiaclimb/guide_pf.html

Both of these areas are shown on the map at:
http://members.tripod.com/novascotiaclimb/map_asp.html

For rope climbing your best bet is the Skapper behind Boutiliers Point. From your direction, get off the 103 at Exit 6, and follow highway 3 to Boutiliers Point. There is a map and a link to directions at: http://members.tripod.com/novascotiacli ... apper.html

There has not been a lot of exploring done in Luneburg county beyond the Aspotogan Peninsula, so if you find any good rock, let us know!
