Black flies were out on Saturday at First Face. Fairly dopey but a few were biting.

Post up your bug encounters so we know where to (not) climb.

evening sessions seem to still be good as the temps are staying pretty cool. But when it's even a little warm the swarms are out.

Black flies were out in full force on the Skull Rock trail today, making repeated dive bombs into our eyes and mouth. Yum!

Sorrow's End had a light smattering of black flies yesterday, light winds kept them away most of the time. More than a few kamikaze attacks into my eyeballs, but usually only when I was just about to clip or make a difficult move.

Maybe two more weekends and then I'm sure it will be out of control out there.

Bug's weren't too bad at First Face for most of the day. Black flies weren't bad while climbing, but bad for the belyer. Mick's bug net worked great for the belyer. Thanks Mick.
