Conan,

I've got thesis due at the end of October and let's just say it's not quite there yet.

I did make it out to mainface once this summer - if you're headed out and just getting used to trad leading you should give Popcorn a try - the first pitch is really enjoyable with lots of easy placements - second was junk but short. After that you're at the base of the Upper North buttress. The top pitch of popcorn looked dull - we topped out on Mainline, which is a nice crack but a little harder than the previous stuff.

Just need to get transportation from Wolfville figured out.

Hey, Stoners. Came all the way to France to climb granite. Pictures of granite cracks, with bolts lining the route, to follow. Peter

Gut -- Check
Beer -- Check
Navy -- Check
Jargon -- Check

WOOHOO I'm in. Of course right now I am going to the head to drop the kids of at the pool, then right to my rack cause in the forenoon I have to see the sickbay tiffy.

Translation:
Going to the bathroom to take a crap, then going to bed cause tomorrow morning I have to see the doctor.
