new to Halifax

Postby jibs » Thu Feb 28, 2008 12:37 pm

Hi folks,

I'm moving to Halifax, and I'm keen to meet up with climbers in the area. Ice, trad, sport... I've been climbing for 10 years or so - happy leading trad and sport. Mostly climbed in NB, but also Maine, NH, Que, J-Tree. Keen to visit some of the local indoor climbing too.

Any ice still in?

I can be reached by email -- bocabec at gmail -- looking forward to meeting some local climbers.

thanks Cara! :) that should really help my chances of getting in with the local crowd! ;)

Jamie

ps - I think it was really your husband who suggested the climbing au naturel, but I could be wrong.

I predict there will be a group of trad/ice climbers at Henry House pub, Barrington and South Streets, Thursday, March 6 at 7:00 p.m., a good starting place. Peter
