First Face rack

Postby granite_grrl » Wed May 23, 2007 7:12 am

Its been a long time since I've been there. Nathan and I are visiting my family this weekend and were going to take a day to go climbing. Figured that since I have a rope gun now (aka Nathan) we'd head here.

Any need to bring more than a standard rack (single set of cams, nuts, etc) or are doubles recomended in some sizes. Should we bring extra small gear and mirco nuts?

Hi,

At First Face it is often very useful to have double cams or nuts in the thin-medium hand sizes and a wide selection of wires including micros esp. if doing the harder 5.10s like Pyramid, The Arches etc. A standard rack should be fine for the easier routes like Black Diamond, April Cool and Ghost Dance.

Cheers

FYI, the bolts are questionable. CNS has plans to rebolt First face, use with caution!
