eagles nest

Postby ben smith » Tue Aug 29, 2006 4:51 pm

so i went out to the nest this morning and met a steath bolting ninja sneaking out of the forest cackling madly and revving the bosch. there are two new bolt anchors above the giloutine/ that bolted line in the sea gully, and above booming system/ the overhang, they still need to be tightened up though- I hand tightened them but the socket I brought was too small for the nut- they are 10 mil bolts if anyone is around eagles nest. both of these lines have reasonably bomber tree/natural feature anchors for toproing though so I don't know why there were complaints about not being able to climb there.

the place was a huge frigging mess though- Is there interest in a cleanup day towards the end of sept?? scott and mitt I know you guys are psyched , anyone else??

Yeah, I'd be down. Collin and I have been there a few times on afternoons when we don't have time to drive elsewhere. I'll definately help cleanup.
