Easter in North Conway

Postby cory » Sun Mar 15, 2009 5:31 pm

I'm looking for people to join me in North Conway April 10-13 (dates somewhat flexible).
Accommodations are Cheap! -Eastern Slope Inn rates range from $30-$55/person/night. I also found a cottage that sleeps 8 (4 Queen beds) for only $144/night. There are also ski & stay packages available.

Here's what's going on there then:

Spring skiing on most hills
Winter skiing on Wild Cat
Backcountry skiing -Tuckerman's Ravine

Trad climbing will be unlikely, due to ice on the slabs
Ice climbing is likely
Sport climbing at Rumney may be possible by then
Bouldering will have comfy landings, but the approaches may be postholey

End of season deals on all winter gear and clothing (skis, axes, jackets,boots....)
Summer gear demo deals and new products
All other sorts of consumer crap at the outlets

And we can't forget Beef & Ski and Chicken Too!

...and Ben & Jerry's. you can never forget Ben and Jerry's......
The phrase "working mother" is redundant. ~Jane Sellman

If a husband speaks in the woods, and his wife is not there to hear him...is he still wrong?

Peter and I will be heading down to New Hampshire for easter. We are planning on climbing at Rumney, but are open for other ideas.
You are, therefore I am. That is the question....
