I am going to Moncton for a little trip is there any good shops there to get any climbing gear? looking for some pretty basic stuff slings and 'biners.

Nope. you are out of luck.
the Radical Edge in Fredericton has a very limited selection of slings and biners, but due to the high prices for them when only ordering a few things it just doesn't make it feasible for them to carry much. MEC in Halifax is your best bet.
