Norfolk and I were up to Minkey on Sunday. I left a nut on Warm and Sultry. It is located on the bottom quarter of the route before the short traverse into the good crack. If anyone jumps on that line during one of the balmy days we’re bound to have next weekend would you mind leaving it in the sign in box for me? Please hide it well in there so that those thieving kids from Cape Breton don’t steal it if they come back. With the popularity of this classic Welsford line I’m positive it’ll get some traffic over the next week and I’m sure it’ll come out as the placement absolutely sucked balls… it was just too dark to see while it was being worked. It was DMM #8 Turquoise or #9 Gold, but who really knows or cares… it was a damn big nut fo shizzle. Thanks everyone I really appreciate the assistance of the climbing community in retrieving this very inexpensive piece of gear…. Without it what will I use to beat down wild cougars and big hairy bears (or anchor a boat)?
