New route - striated wall

Postby PeterA » Sun Sep 30, 2007 5:55 pm

Steve and I went up and bolted a new line on striated Tuesday, just left of teenage arete. Cory Goodman and I went out today and redpointed it. It's an excellent route.

Middle Age Arret - 5.11d, 7 bolts, 2 bolt anchor with rap rings, 70 feet
FA:S. Adamson, P. Adamson
FFA:P. Adamson, C. Goodman

Follow the bolted line just left and around the corner of Teenage arete, using the face and the arete.

This is an excellent route, is fairly clean, with fairly solid rock, but as with all new routes, just beware of things flaking/breaking off.

climbed this route yesterday. Great line.. nicely bolted.

I have a few routes to ad to the database of new routes. I've just been too busy at work. stay tuned.
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

I seem to recall six bolts? are you sure there are seven? don't count the anchor.

sorry for being technical but I'm doing mark-ups for guidebook
