Direct start for Slippery

Postby STeveA » Tue May 22, 2007 9:22 pm

Not sure if it has been done before, but my son and I climbed a direct start to Slippery When Wet today. When I say my son and I, I mean my son, with me dragging my ass up the route. Need to add 3 new bolts before we can lead the direct start, however the moves are good. Probably goes at 5.11d. Climb straight up to the right of Waterfall Layback. The route does not touch the ramp of Waterfall Layback. Makes for a 100'+ sport route when bolted.
You are, therefore I am. That is the question....

That will be a great extension of the route; a perfect idea. I look forward to trying it.
