Ulysse Richard and Manuel Quiroga have made the first continuous free ascent of the classic Bugaboo line, The Seventh Rifle. Located on the west side of North Howser Tower, the route was originally climbed by Chris Jones, Galen Rowell and Tony Qamar in 1971. Canadian climbers had subsequently climbed the route with only two pitches of aid at 5.11 A1. Since then, the aid sections on the route have been freed, making this the first continuous free ascent.
