Climbed at Waterfall Wall today. Left side is out. Center is thin but close to being in again. Right side is full with hollow cauliflowers that make for cool climbing but won't take screws. Flowing strong and forming today.

Ministers Face is good, and there's lots of snowmobiles on the river.

Jan 20 - Mt. Misery wasn't miserable, but not great either. Only the 3 main lines were in, and 2 lines on the Upper Tier. But everything was very wet so this week's cold temps should fatten up all routes.

26 January - Mt. Misery is coming along. Many lines are now in at the lower tier and the upper tier is fat. That said a few which were present in the past are completely absent at the left side of the lower tier. Strange.

3 Feb. Parlee lost a lot of volume from the rains, but all climbs are still leadable, although the bottom of 3 Amigos is rock or verglas. Yellow Pillar's ice was hard and brittle but Blue Pillar was great, wet and plastic. We tried to drive in from Lisson Settlement but the road down the hill through the blueberry fields was sheer ice, so we hiked it.

Waterfall Wall was thin. I would almost so it was out. Cave Fever was definately out, the climbing rope had the most ice.
You are, therefore I am. That is the question....

Took a drive with Luc Saturday afternoon/evening throught Dorchester Cape and Rockport. From Johnson's Mills you could see that Cape Maringouin was in good form and Rockport had more ice then in past years. It is worth the trip especially with this weather... I'm more then confident that Dorchester Cape is getting fat too!

Waterfall is still thin like Steve had said Sunday. Wherever there is thick ice, it seems like it's detached. Needless to say we won't go there on Sunday for Ice School.

The Quarry looked thin

Eagle Rock has fat ice.

Hampton, Feb.14. The ice is in great shape, better than it's been all year.

Although I haven't checked it, I expect Ministers Face is in good shape now too, just in time for the Icefest.

From yesterday:

St Martins Area:
-Quacco head area all lines are in... some with wonky features (Aerial? had a huge death-chandelier hanging over the pitch)
-Superbowl and Fundy Gully were completely out

Hampton:
-Sunbaked... but in.

Was out to Dorchester Cape saturday afternoon. There a few lines in good form, really fat, especially the steep right hand line.... other lines seemed to be a bit sunbaked and thin.... i bet the conditions have improved greatly after these few days of cold. Also went to Joggins NS.... climbed 4 high quality routes with Luc Gallant. So happy my cast is off and it doesn't hurt to climb! walking is a bit different :D

climbed in rockport this evening.... everything is in good form! if you're in sackville for an afternoon and don't mind soloing WI3(10m) and short steep pumpy routes (4-6m) it is worth the trip!

Thanks for the update Cory. Sounds like I might get in another ice day! I think at this time of year I'd encourage anyone who's ice climbing to report conditions. It's a real community service.

Glebe is in great shape - everything is awesome and leadable.

I was out at CL rock climbing yesterday and the ice at WW is completely out. I would assume it's done for the season.
