Climbing this Weekend

Postby rckclmr » Tue Apr 24, 2012 10:07 am

Guys & Gals, I wanted to head out and get back into the harness.. with all the new stuff going up, i would really appreciate some suggestions on where to start.

I climbed sunnyside last year.. across from the radio tower, but heard of a couple other spots that opened up and under development.

I know the Lane is closed but is all of it? Can I still go up for a hike?

Rob

Try out the new slab area on Mt Douglas opposite the golf course. Nice clean rock with fun but easier climbs.
You are, therefore I am. That is the question....

Across from the Golf Course there is a new Highway being built. Driver under the Over pass and park near the "parking area" near the woods. You should see the trail head from the parking area. It's likely the easiest/quickest hike to any Crag in NB. Fun Slab climbs too at Les Dalles

Check out the New Brunswick section there is a thread there with all the route. I would agree with the others this place is a "must go"! Also as the previous poster said it's super easy to get to.
