Bouldering near woodstock and do you need a partner?

Are there any places close to woodstock for bouldering . Do you even need a partner to boulder or climb I'm new to this and have no partner yet so would like to start with some easy bouldering then move to mountain climbing

there were boulders near Pokiok and there might still be a few around. Some of them were blasted for the new highway. With a bit of exploration I'm sure there are probably more in the woods. There is bouldering potential on the road between Meductic and Mc-Adam but it would require more exploration to find good boulders. There is a guy in Nackawick who has been searching for more. If you want to get in contact with him I can hook you up.

You don't need a partner for bouldering although it is more motivating to climb with two people and plus they can run for help or wish you good luck when you break a leg out in the woods.
