my only real disapointment with the new guidebook is the spelling mistake I made on route 187. Even with 4 proof readers we didn't pick it up. Just goes to show it's virtually impossible to make something perfect. Oh well.

For those of you who aren't close to Fredericton, you can have Radical Edge send the new Guidebook to you through Acadian Bus Lines. I ordered mine around 5pm Friday night and received it 3pm Saturday afternoon.

Cost:

Shipping : 12.50 (8 Freight, +3 COD, + 2.5 HST)
Book: 34.19 (29.99 + 4.20 HST)

Total Cost: $46.69

Pretty expensive, but it -IS- a VERY WELL and PROFESSIONALLY done guide. Thanks to all, esp. Fred for assembling and creating it. I'm sure there were thousands of hours put in to it.

The topos are very nice and clear. There is some value-added content which makes help justify and add to the value of the book.

Its so nice, though, that I'm worried about roughing it up by brining it with me on climbing days ;P

Funny you should say that. I have 3-4 copies of the current guidebook. I keep one in my car, one in my backpack and one in my 'bookshelf'.

I lost one after lending it at the crag and w/o for a long time because there weren't any reprints. Hehe. That's why I bought so many.
