"Sheet of Glass" grade inquiry?

Postby motanb » Tue Oct 24, 2006 3:23 pm

I'd like to know the feeling that everyone has who has climbed this route. I gave it a 11c grade due to the fact that it is quite slabby, hence, not too physical. The climb requires balance, flexibility, footwork. Holds are plenty and it is NOT reachy. When the temps are right the friction on this particular route is super.
3bolts and an anchor make it really convenient too!
I'd like some feedback.

I found it to be more difficult than Montezuma's no doubt and it's the same thin slabby style. Don't be shy to give it a 12a grade. It's a sweet Hard line. Ulysse alos confirmed it's not 5.11c but harder. I don't think anyone else but myself has been on it. Too bad because it's an awesome rotue that deserves some traffic. Only problem is you have to bring a stick-clip unless you can lead it unlike MOntezuma's where everyone takes their shot at TR.

btw. I changed your tat for some mailons. Hope this was ok.
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

I agree that it is harder than montezumas. by at least 1-2 letters. so 12a would be pretty accurate.
The phrase "working mother" is redundant. ~Jane Sellman

If a husband speaks in the woods, and his wife is not there to hear him...is he still wrong?
