Access Denied grade confirmed

Postby Fred » Mon Aug 28, 2006 9:50 pm

Access Denied has finally seen a second red-point ascent. Nick confirms grade is 13a or 13b but no harder. Many have thought for a long time that the grade was perhaps sandbagged but in fact it realy goes at 13a. Check out the video on http://www.beta-source.com
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

the glen is cool man. Tons of wicked high stuff etc. Go in the fall though. It was insane sticky down there.

Redpoint on his 2nd attempt I have to add. Kudos to Nick, cause he apparently hasn't been training as of late!

Never again

Jon had made the jump without a rope before that, but after falling he said he would not try again without the rope.
