Greenlaw is Sweet

Postby Ian_the_Barbarian » Wed Jun 21, 2006 10:01 am

Was down to greenlaw last weekend. Checked it out for the first time and it looks totally sweet. Unfortunately, it was impromptu and we didn't really have enough gear to even set a top rope, so we bouldered on those crappy little boulders at the base of the crag.

Point of the story is, good job on whoever bolted all those routes cause my family lives at the base of the mountain (I think they actually own a good portion of the face) and I've thought about climbing it every time I've seen it since I was 5. I'm definitely going back with more gear sometime.

Fred and I put up 15-20 of them and the rest were put up by Jamie Simpson and Rob Lemmon and a few others. The guide for the area is online at beta source.

The climbing there IS sweet!

Thanks!!!!
The phrase "working mother" is redundant. ~Jane Sellman

If a husband speaks in the woods, and his wife is not there to hear him...is he still wrong?

let us know how you make out Ian or if you ever need a belayer or leader to go with. I'm always excited to see people climbing our routes. cheers!
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.
