Ice Climbing on Saturday (10/1/09)

Postby Seb » Thu Jan 08, 2009 9:21 am

Is anybody up for some ice climbing on Saturday? I know it’s quite warm today, but Friday and Saturday are supposed to be cold again so I don’t think there’s much to worry about there. I’ve got all my own gear but no car. I am willing to pitch in for my share of gas however. Also, I’m psyched on ice climbing!!

Sebastian:

I'm interested. Saturday looks like the better weather day. I don't have the tidal webpage bookmarked at work, but I am sure we could find something.

Peter - FYI there is a link, at the top left of this site, for tides. Put in NS, then change the site from Hantsport, to Baxter's Harbour, once on the linked site. HIGH tide is 10:53am Saturday, so you could likely get aorund the beach after 12:30 or so - just a guess. At least it would be going out!!!
