Turtle Mountain

Postby STeveA » Mon Sep 19, 2011 10:53 am

We are heading up to Turtle Mountain the weekend of Oct 1st. I will have my bolt gun to install some top rope anchors. If anyone is interested in checking out a new cliff we will be camping out Saturday night.

Too bad seems like there could be some nice climbs in there ( hiked there once ). Too bad there isn't any options for natural pro to build a top rope anchor there. I think there should be some bolts put in there :) Maybe in the spring?

if your keen to go in just bring an extra rope, you can always find an anchor with 200 feet of rope. next time i drive in hopefully it wont be raining so we can climb...... a truck makes a great movable anchor!!

Great suggestions for anchors! never thought of the extra rope to be honest but really good idea! lol my car might be an issue getting in there but a truck/jeep could possibly get in there! You must have some kind of insane vehicle lol
